Video
Besides running the Ventilator cinema we have put a lot of work and attention into making a very extended, audiovisual webdocu about collective ownership. Videos of that project can be seen on this page but for the full experience you should visit the webdocu.

When launching this new AA website (2025) we also launched Fragmenta, a new video department by Amsterdam Alternative. Read more about the idea behind Fragmenta and how you can join as a video maker on the Fragmenta project page.
Besides our own videos we have also created a curated page with interesting videos, docus and films found on Youtube and Vimeo.

Fragmenta #002 - Katie Duck

Interview with Katie Duck in the Ventilator cinema, recorded on Friday 22nd of August 2025.
All performance recordings were made at the ‘Sublime Escapades’ presentation night at the Ventilator Cinema.

Katie Duck is a renowned multidisciplinary artist, performer, teacher and pioneer with a career spanning several decades. Duck is celebrated for her innovative multidisciplinary approach to performance art, blending dance, theatre, music, and text in her work. Duck uses a microscopic view of improvisation as both a creative tool and a performance strategy. Her work often blurs the line between composition and spontaneity, challenging traditional notions of performance.
