SAMEN UIT SAMEN THUIS is de afstudeeravond van Hessel Visser, Thomas Curvers en Tisha Smit, studenten aan het Conservatorium van Amsterdam en de leden van Minor Citizen. Begonnen aan het conservatorium door met z'n drieën auditie te doen, 4 jaar lang samen te studeren en dan natuurlijk samen af te studeren. De titel van deze avond was dan ook al lang bekend, voor hij überhaupt georganiseerd was. De drie vrienden en bandleden laten deze avond alledrie een gloednieuw eigen soloproject zien en sluiten vervolgens, geheel in stijl, samen de avond af als Minor Citizen. Het belooft een gevarieerde en spetterende avond te worden dus haal snel je kaartjes. 

English: Samen Uit Samen Thuis* is the graduation show of Hessel Visser, Thomas Curvers and Tisha Smit. They started at the Amsterdam conservatory by auditioning together, studied together for four years and now they’re of course graduating together. The title of this night was already chosen way before the event even became a reality. The three friends and bandmates will all debut new projects, and they will close the night -very much on brand- together, performing as Minor Citizen. It’s going to be an amazing night, with eclectic new acts, so get yourself a ticket as soon as you can.

*SAMEN UIT SAMEN THUIS literally means "out together, at home together". It's a Dutch saying, which roughly translates to "we're in this together"

Minor Citizen
In your face energy and infectious fun, that's what Minor Citizen is about. Minor Citizen is a rock trio with a massive sound of rock n roll. After releasing EP Mirage, and playing shows with Popronde 2021, Minor Citizen started working on their next EP, which will be produced by Mario Goossens (Triggerfinger). De Kade
Zet een stap in een Nederlandstalig sample-pop avontuur. Catchy, slick geproduceerde songs in een underground jasje. Na een jarenlange zoektocht heeft muzikant Nick van Leeven eindelijk het project van zijn dromen van de grond gekregen. Alles begint opgesloten op de zolderkamer met alleen Nick en een laptop. Gore beats en dreunende bassen samen met de kwetsbare vocals geven de Nederlandse popmuziek een nieuwe, frisse impuls, die zich ook live zeer goed uit. 

Mx.

Missing queer representation, especially concerning non-binary individuals, Mx. decided it was time to take matters into their own hands. The result is a bundle of honest indiefolk songs that might make you wanna jump around and cry at the same time. Mx. is the project of Tisha Smit. It is also a title for anyone who doesn't fit into being a Mr, Mrs, Miss or a Ms.

Cecile
Cecile is a project formed by Thomas Cecile, a multi-instrumentalist from Amsterdam. Cecile's music is a lovechild of old & new, inspired by artists such as James, Blake, Chet Baker, Thundercat and Paul Simon. Listen to beautiful vocal harmonies, and let the atmospheric sounds of keys and guitar take you away to outer space.
