Podcast
In May 2023 we started our first podcast project called Basta! In almost two years we published nineteen interviews with guests like George Monbiot, Kali Akuno, Roger Hallam, Jodi Dean, Fatima Faïd and others.
In November 2025 we restarted with a new podcast team and a new name.
Rad-Ish is our new podcast project that will hopefully run for a long time with many interesting guests.

This conversation was hosted by Stefan Christoff and explores the intersections of art and activism that has taken place over the last year to support the movement for Palestinian freedom. More info here

Op vrijdag 11 maart 2022 organiseerde Amsterdam Alternative in de OT301 een publieke discussie avond over de ‘Expeditie
Vrije Ruimte’. Bij het gesprek waren o.a. mensen van de Gemeente (team Expeditie Vrije Ruimte), Radartoren, Hotel Mokum, Prospect11, BIJ1, Amsterdam Alternative, OT301 en LEF aanwezig.
Dit is een integrale opname van de discussie.
Na de discussie werd de docu ‘Mokum Kraakt’ getoond. Deze docu is te zien op de website van Amsterdam Alternative.
Op vrijdag 11 februari vond in de OT301 een AA Talk plaats over de woonstrijd, waar werd gediscussieerd over mogelijke strategieën en actievormen om de wooncrisis het hoofd te bieden. Na de demonstraties in diverse steden in het land van het afgelopen halfjaar zijn veel activisten een beetje ‘demonstratiemoe’ en is er behoefte aan ideeën voor nieuwe manieren om de strijd te voeren.

Op vrijdag 19 november jongstleden organiseerde Amsterdam Alternative in de OT301 een discussie avond over de ‘Expeditie
Vrije Ruimte’. Zo’n zestig mensen kwamen bij elkaar om te discussiëren over het onlangs door de gemeente gelanceerde beleid om nieuwe vrije ruimte in Amsterdam te realiseren. Dit is een integrale opname van de discussie.
Panel
In het panel van deze AA Talk zaten vertegenwoordigers van ADM, ’t Groene Veld, Vrij Beton, ADEV, Het Vrije Ruimte Akkoord, AFGA (Anarchistische Feministische Groep Amsterdam), Hotel Mokum en Joekenel van der Pijl van de Gemeente Amsterdam. In de zaal zaten mensen van de OT301, Cinetol, Skatecafe, De Bowlingbaan, De Hoop, Vliegtuin, Ruigoord, Rijkshemelvaart, NDSM, Amsterdam Alternative etc. Bijna allemaal mensen die op de een of andere manier iets te maken hebben met vrije ruimte. De een activistischer dan de ander. De ander ondernemender dan de een. Allemaal mensen met een eigen verhaal, eigen ervaringen, eigen ideeën en eigen wensen. Maar allemaal mensen die werken, wonen en leven vanuit een overtuiging die botst met het heersende neo-liberale systeem dat gebouwd is op de verheerlijking van marktwerking en kapitaal.
The 2nd podcast produced by Daniel Leix Palumbo for Amsterdam Alternative is based on on-going research conducted by Jaap Draaisma, which comes along with a documentary and an online article recently published on AA. In this podcast, Jaap tells more about his research and the documentary, explaining how Amsterdam has turned into a Global City, where temporary conditions are the new common denominator. Amsterdam is now a sorting machine, organised around the new economy’s flexible working contracts and the shortage of long-term, affordable housing. The city is characterised by a continuous turnover of people, where both newcomers and Amsterdammers are kicked out if not among the few successful. This is a self-sustainable mechanism for capitalist production, but it destroys the city's social life. Finally, potential strategies to struggle and stay in the city are discussed.
