Coexistence Works - Rewilding Europe
After centuries of decline caused by persecution and habitat loss, iconic species such as vultures, wolves, bears, beavers, and bison are returning to Europe. This video explores both the challenges and the positive changes that communities experience as they reconnect with wildlife, with practical examples from the Southern Carpathians in Romania, the Central Apennines in Italy, and the Greater Côa Valley in Portugal. It shows how rebuilding our relationship with the wild can foster resilience, connection, and a deeper sense of belonging.
