Rad-Ish #013 – We Don’t Care About Art with Amsterdam BANGS

In this episode we interview Lola Swindles, an organiser from the autonomous theater festival Amsterdam BANGS. We discuss art as an economic product and how the capitalism of it all pollutes art into yet another individualised, exploitative process. We explore how BANGS exists outside that; as a free, volunteer-run festival, BANGS returns art to its true purpose, community and care. Raising funds and awareness for Palestine and Lebanon, BANGS is about political education and widening our definition of community.
