Kunsthaus ACUD was established in 1991 when a group of artists occupied an empty building on Weinbergspark.
Through the 2014 initiative ACUD MACHT NEU, the venue was transformed into three spaces: a studio, an art gallery and a club. The building also hosts the ACUD Theater and the cinema ACUD Kino. Seeking to counter capitalist social models and the forms of segregation they produce, Kunsthaus ACUD offers a collaborative cultural space for experimental music and art. Through concerts, exhibitions, talks, screenings and other cultural events it fosters alternative and sustainable forms of community and discourse that decenter profit-driven values.
