(IT) - CSO Bocciodromo Vicenza

Viale Trento 139, 36100, Vicenza, Italy

CSO Bocciodromo Vicenza was founded in 2011, when a former bocce facility was transformed into a cultural center with the aim of providing an anti-fascist, anti-sexist and anti-capitalist space for the community.

In 2025, the social center was forced to move from its building on Via Rossi 198 to a new location on Viale Trento 139. There, it continues to offer an alternative space for concerts, sports classes, film screenings and political debates. Additionally, through the initiative “I boschi che resistono” (“the woods that resist”), members of the social center continue to occupy the football fields near their former building, which was demolished to make way for a new TAV line (high-speed railway). The occupation aims to prevent the construction project from destroying the city's green areas. In this way, the social center continues to advocate for a more sustainable future for the city of Vicenza.
