(IT) - Vag61
Vag61 is a free and self-managed space established in 2004.
The initiative began in 2003 when an abandoned building on Via Azzo Gardino 61 was occupied and transformed into a social center. After being evicted by the municipality, the group was able to secure its current location. Over the years, Vag61 has developed a wide range of projects, including the Campi Aperti organic market, support initiatives for workers and a solidarity after-school program for middle school and highschool students. The center also hosts music events organized by the Bc7p crew and produces documentaries through Smk Factory, an independent audiovisual production group. In addition, Vag61 also collaborates with Zeroincondotta (Zic.it), a self-managed newspaper run through a horizontal organizational structure.
