Laboratorio Occupato Morion has been a self-managed space since 1990.
In 2009, the building was renovated through collective self-construction as part of the Re-Biennale project. It defines itself as anti-fascist, anti-racist, anti-capitalist and trans feminist political space. This social center collaborates with the neighborhood locals, cultural associations and committees to organize cultural activities for the local community. They provide a space for music events, book and film presentations, political debates, open-mic nights and classes in music, theater and dance, alongside many other community activities.
