(IT) - Zona Franka

Zona Franka is a socio-cultural organization founded in Bari, South Italy, in 2002, born out of the enthusiasm and determination of young people to collect requests and respond to the needs, ideas, and rights of the community. It functions as a space for discussion, exchange, and social gathering, serving as an urban “studio” where ideas and social groups can meet and interact. The organization works toward political and cultural change in its local environment, promoting social integration and inclusion, environmental sustainability in ways of living, and combating marginalization. It also actively supports gender equality and, more broadly, encourages youth involvement in civic and cultural life.
