(SK) - Kubik Nápadov

In the western Slovak city of Trnava, Kubík Nápadov is a grassroots community space offering a safe and inclusive environment for creativity, art, activism, collaboration, and friendship for all without prejudice.

Its name translates as “A Cube of Ideas,” and for over 13 years it has provided space for free thinking, artistic expression, crafts, DIY concerts, and much more. All activities are donation-based, making the space accessible to everyone. Kubík Nápadov regularly publishes newsletters and organizes or participates in events focused on art, affordable housing, clothes swapping, climate action, and other community-driven topics. The space also functions as an open platform where anyone can host their own events.

The community collaborates with initiatives such as Opaque (an independent publishing house), Sketon (a skateboarding collective designing and building skate parks across Slovakia), and Klíma Hub (a platform advocating climate action), among others.
