L38 Squat

Laurentinokkupato/L38 Squat is a lively space born in 1991 that over the years has shifted the location of its activities, workshops, and brewery. It is spread across four floors (though only two cover many square meters). It is geographically located just outside the GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare) of Rome, in the southwest outskirts of the city. On the first floor is the entrance, opening onto a “covered courtyard” of concrete outside the main space. The second floor houses the large hall for concerts, theater, popular assemblies, as well as the bar and kitchen. The third floor contains most of L38 Squat / Laurentinokkupato’s activities and spaces, including the rehearsal room, the F-HackLab, the gym, the infoshop, the screen-printing workshop, the herbalist, and the squat itself. On the fourth floor are the darkroom and the planetarium.
