Sonic Acts Academy 21-23 February 2020 Amsterdam

Sonic Acts Academy is a festival at the intersection of innovative audio-visual and performative art and critical thinking, concerned with human-caused planetary transformations and driven by the need to rethink common futures.

Taking place in Amsterdam from 21 to 23 February 2020, it offers three evenings of live cinema, experimental concerts and progressive club nights alongside a conference with cutting-edge international artistic voices at partnering institutions Paradiso, De Brakke Grond, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and OT301.

As a condensed rendition of its bigger sister, the renowned Sonic Acts Festival, the Academy focusses on inspiring artistic research with a special emphasis on experimentation and innovation in the age of the Anthropocene.
