Upgraded women take the stage

We are Tatiana Śpiewak and Sarah Zechut, your favourite choreographic duo, and we wholeheartedly invite you to our upcoming premiere - a double-bill performance featuring two of our recent works that explore intensity, femininity, and collective strength.

Part I - “a brand new, upgraded woman longing to feel as much as possible and even more, at all times, whatever it takes” is a debut duet by Tatiana and Sarah. Moved by ongoing waves of the womb, the dancers embody various phases of vital force: desire, struggle, collapse, recovery, and yet another battle. The work exposes the universal pressure to constantly feel more, push further, and begin again, no matter the cost.

Part II -  “Redefining The Upgraded Woman” is a dance-theater performance featuring four young women - Lola Dupriez, Sofia Montenegro, Tatiana Śpiewak and Sarah Zechut. They play with stereotypes, animalistic qualities, and redefine femininity as a collective force. Driven by the cyclical energy of the womb and an original score by Kyra Khaldi, they bend rules and negotiate boundaries. Their shared dance becomes a refuge from the sensory overload and loneliness of the urban landscape. They need each other to reconnect, embody mindful silence and feel the ground beneath their feet.

The premiere will take place on the 22nd of February 2026 in Tobacco Theater.

This work was created in Ventilator Cinema and is supported by Amsterdam Alternative, Expanded Contemporary Dance, Amsterdams Fonds voor de Kunst, Cultuurfonds and Christina Mastori.

We hope to see you there!
With love and sparkles,
Tatiana & Sarah
