Music Theatre event in the bar lead by Mary Oliver (viola)

The artists who support and organize the Freakatoni Witchy Weekends meet throughout the year in workshops, sessions and performances. Each year they invite international insterdisciplinary artists to come to the OT301 in Amsterdam to create performance events with a rehearsal process the week prior to each event (Improvisation Summer Intensive Amsterdam 2019) Freakatoni Witchy Weekendstakes place in Studio 1 and the bar. Each evening is in two parts: Performance Art, Text Dance, Music event in the Studio 1 theatre for 40 to 50 minutes, followed by a Music Theatre event in the bar, led by our local musicians, for 20 to 30 minutes. The evening finishes with a live improvisation band. Each event is accompanied by MC Performance Artist Xsenia Perek, and illuminated by real time light designer Ellen Knops.
