Infinite Minds: The Cinema of Ted Fendt 2
Line up: Study with Book + Classical Period

Open: 20:30 - 00:00
Tickets: € 5

“Nothing can be contingent in the work of an infinite mind“. In Ted Fendt´s second feature Classical Period, Cal, Chris, Evelyn, Sam and Michael have regular meetings to dissect Henry Longfellow´s translation of Dante´s “Divine Comedy“. Their conversations engage in a communal stream of infinite consciousness. Fendt shows a talent for delivering a deadpan joke with biting irony by slicing through the web of a dense performance with a bone-dry relief. In the end Classical Period is not so much about literature as it is about human life and its relations, discussing humanism in its visual and physical essence.
