Mengelmoes is a hodgepodge of daring, interdisciplinary performances by independent artists. Music, dance, film and stories share one stage, and artists often present brand new work. Three acts are announced below; two more will follow soon.
Akiko Mik | Shruti Box - Vocal
Opera composer and dream-pop songwriter: her hushed vocals, keys and electronics melt into a poetic meditative sound, transforming drones from the Shruti Box.
Nadia Tomazenko | Dance (live) - Film
Born in Ukraine, shaped in Greece, landed in Amsterdam: a dancer who swings from raw power to breathless stillness, with video by Kasper van Dijk and music by David Huson.
Dimitra Sofroniou | Vocal - Electronic
An Athens-born sound artist bending voice, wires and modular synths into an immersive sonic ritual, merging fiction and reality.
More acts to be announced soon.
