CABARET BRASIL + COLETIVO GAFIEIRA AMSTERDAM: A NEW COLLABORATION!
For the first time ever, Cabaret Brasil and Coletivo Gafieira Amsterdam are joining forces for a special evening of Brazilian music, dance, and celebration at Teatro Munganga!
And the fun starts before the show with a Samba de Gafieira dance workshop! The workshop will be taught by Renata and Matheus, originally from Brazil, who each bringover 10 years of dance experience.
As part of Coletivo Gafieira Amsterdam, they are passionate about keeping the spirit of Samba de Gafieira alive and bringing this beautiful Brazilian partner dance to more people in Amsterdam.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or already have some dance experience, this is your chance to discover the rhythms, learn the basic steps, improve your moves, and connect with Brazilian culture through dance. No need to be an experienced dancer — just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm!
After the workshop, stay with us for Cabaret Brasil, celebrating the richness and diversity of Brazilian music in an evening full of rhythm, movement, and cultural connections.
Join us for this exciting first collaboration and experience the magic of Brazilian music and dance all in one place!
Travel back with us to Brazil from cabaret times. A gafieira evening where every Brazilian rhythm fits in.
From choro to forró, from samba to frevo, from bolero with bossa taste to Brazilian waltz spiced with maxixe.
Come dance, listen, transport yourself to that Brazil that pours culture in abundance.
This is Cabaret Brasil. Come have fun with us!
