SplenDoor to Ukraine XXXV: Capturing Time
Line up: Ukrainian Documentary Cinema

In November, Amsterdam becomes a meeting point for the international documentary film community as it hosts IDFA, one of the world’s leading documentary film festivals. The festival has long provided an important platform for Ukrainian documentary filmmakers and their work.

15 November we will look back at some of the earlier films by Ukrainian filmmakers who are presenting their work at IDFA this year, including films that were part of previous IDFA selections.

The evening will be a chance to see where these filmmakers started, how their work has changed over time, and how Ukrainian documentary cinema has found new ways of capturing and making sense of reality.

The full programme and event details will be announced soon.
