TisDass, hailing from Niger,  is led by singer-guitarist Moussa Kildjate Albadé, and is based in Niamey with roots in Tchintabaraden, a town emblematic of the Tamasheq kel of Niger. “TisDass” means ‘Pillars‘ in Tamasheq, a reference to the pillars of traditional Berber tents. This name signifies the group’s deep connection to their culture, which they aim to defend and promote through their powerful music.
