The Funny Amsterdam Festival kicks off with Tragedy Plus Time - the sell-out comedy show dealing with comedy and grief

A comedy show exploring the boundary and relationship between pain and humour, showing how distance and shared laughter help process grief. Featuring vulnerable stories about personal tragedy from the cast and guests, Tragedy Plus Time is a unique communal comedy show that finds lightness, laughter and catharsis in some of the darker aspects of life.

Tragedy Plus Time debuted at London's improv theater The Free Association, before enjoying two sell-out runs at Amsterdam's Boom Chicago. Previous guests have included Brendan Hunt (Ted Lasso), Phil Wang (Taskmaster), Heather-Anne Campbell (Rick and Morty, Whose Line is it Anyway?), Ambika Mod (One Day, This is Going to Hurt) and Lara Ricote (Edinburgh Comedy Award winner)
