Let your curiosity run wild in A Lab on July 3rd during Open Labs! This creative and innovative festival in the former laboratory of Shell, is for all curious Amsterdammers who value art and culture, sustainability, and social innovation in these challenging times. Come and see how our 350-strong community is working to create a positive future. 

There will be a programme full of exhibitions, live music, art, pitches, theatre, photo reports, workshops and interesting encounters. Children are welcome! Bring them along — because there's plenty to discover for everyone!

Encounter new ideas, meet the artists and explore the live programme. Wander around and discover, or follow one of the inspiring themed routes in line with the work fields of A Lab members. There is a digital art and culture route, a sustainability route and a social innovation route, as well as a route offering a mix of activities for kids.

What can I expect?
At A Lab you never know! But that's all part of the fun. But a sneak peek is always welcome... Immerse yourself in live music, ranging from the A Lab cover band to jazzy sounds acompanied by vertical dance on the courtyard wall. Visit the exibition of experimental artist, illustrators and photographers. Join the opening of the Record Room where your podcast dream suddenly comes to live. You can listen to short, inspiring talks about creating a positive, equal, sustainable or safe future, visit the A Lab cinema, discover the Vincent Goes North exibition. Or buy something beautiful at the A Lab pop-up store. Every day new activities are added to the program, so you'll probably run out of time while you're here.
