Once a month we organise this Brazilian roda (roundtable), where musicians familiar with choro can participate.

This is is a very special roda is led by Elizabeth Fadel on piano and Daniel Montes on 7-string guitar and with the participation of Maripepa Contreras, Wagner Vasconcelos, Marijn van der Linden, Luis Mascaro and Elisabeth Fadel.

Choro is a Brazilian music style from Rio de Janeiro, from the 19th century.

It mixes classical music like polca and march, with African rhythms like lundu and maxixe.

The combination makes people smile and even dance.
