Hot GLAM! Plein Theater and Lesbique are hosting a series of Drag Nights!
As the fourth edition is also part of Pride Month we present the special Drag Queen Sederginne!
She's an international super star, Drag Race Holland royalty, host of her own show on Netflix, winner of 'Good Luck Guys' and the first queen with a successful theater tour.
Sederginne
Sederginne is a pro when it comes to comedy. All strange, weird and peculiar things in life are magnified and brought to the stage during her shows. She makes an art of telling a fascinating story and turning it into a fun sketch. She started doing drag at the age of 15 as a resident toilet lady at the well known gaybar Hessenhuis in Antwerp.
She performed in numerous shows, for example in the role of Cagelles of the sold out musical 'La Cage Aux Folles', had four full time residencies on the island of Mykonos, officiated weddings, performs in multiple drag brunches, is part of the Rotterdam Drag Show, and performed in Russia, Switzerland, Spain, Ireland, UK, Denmark and the USA.
Sederginne starred in the first season of Drag Race Holland in 2020 and considered a fan favourite. She had her very own review show on Videoland, 'The Review with Sederginne', and starred in two seasons of Netflix 'I Like To Watch'.
In 2023, Sederginne was be the first drag queen in Europe ever to have her very own theater tour in the Netherlands and Belgium; 'Van Wc-Madame tot Diva'
As if 2023 wasn't busy enough, Sederginne was also a part of the cast of the documentary, 'What ADrag', which was a success on streaming platform Streamz.
In 2024, Sedergine embarked on another TV adventure. On Prime she was a part of the second season of 'Good Luck Guys', where in the end they crowned her as winner of the show.
About Bring Drag Back to the Theatre
Bring Drag Back to the Theatre is a bold and extravagant homage to DRAG in all its glittering glory. DRAG is not just a trend, it's a lavish, rebellious art form with centuries of history. Born in the theatre, drag emerged at a time when women were forbidden to step on stage, and men took on female roles, bending gender long before it was cool.
Beyond the velvet curtains, drag has always ruled the night. It shaped nightlife, fueled creative revolutions across the globe, and stood courageously on the front lines of LGBTIQ+ emancipation — then and now.
This dazzling series of drag evenings at Plein Theatre is an ode to the art of drag in all its forms. Expect iconic history, bold storytelling, and a glorious spectrum of drag artistry as the most fabulous Queens, Kings, and fluid drag personas command the stage.
Join us on a journey where we bring drag back to the theatre — where it belongs — and celebrate, admire, and revel in its power, beauty, and unapologetic fabulousness.
