Line up: Guinga

This is a workshop project featuring the guitarist and composer Guinga.
It stems from a long-standing desire to share experiences and insights into his work, his creative process when composing, what influences him artistically, and what his future projects are.
Guinga is approaching 60 years in his career and during this time he has witnessed stories that connect people, places and memories of Brazilian popular music.
The session lasts two hours and is aimed at the general public as well as those interested in Brazilian music and guitar.

Guinga plans to speak at this session about:
- Brazilian song, its history and its place in the world today
- his work and creative process
- lyrics in Brazilian popular song
- creative influences and intersections (what inspires music)
