Basta!

On Saturday, April 29, the new talk show Basta! officially launched with a small party in the Ventilator bar on the second floor of the OT301. From now on, Basta! will be recorded almost every week on Fridays (and sometimes Saturdays) from 18:00-19:00 hrs in the cinema room of the OT301, to be distributed as a podcast through all relevant channels.

An initiative of Amsterdam Alternative and a coalition of activist groups and individuals, Basta! focuses on current issues from the political, social and cultural spheres. Basta! has a distinctly left-progressive slant and is intended to counterbalance the conformist offerings of news and analysis in the mainstream media.

The recordings of Basta! are free of charge and are sometimes followed by a film screening.
