Kissable Screens celebrates Christmas with bloody gay zombie porn film written and directed by Bruce LaBruce, who is known as a leading experimental and sexually explicit filmmaker. L.A. Zombie was banned from the Melbourne International Film Festival in 2010 because, in the opinion of Australian censors, it would have been refused classification. However, LaBruce continued to promote the film, which did receive its world premiere at OutTakes, a New Zealand lesbian and gay international film festival, in May 2011.
