Indierock, postpunk en een flinke scheut dreampop: dat bezorgen de drie Britse heren van Victories At Sea. Eerder te zien in het voorprogramma van Editors en The Boxer Rebellion en nu klaar om de Benelux te veroveren met hun tweede album Everybody’s Lost And All I Want Is To Leave. Een plaat die werd opgenomen in een studio aan de oevers van het Schotse Loch Fyne en gemixt in thuisstad Birmingham. Hun sound komt van beide locaties: machinaal en desolaat en tegelijkertijd warm en dromerig.

In for some indierock, postpunk and a shot of dream pop? The gentlemen from Victories At Sea are at your service. Where they first played support for Editors and The Boxer Rebellion, they are now ready to conquer the Benelux with their second full length Everybody’s Lost And All I Want Is To Leave. Recorded at studios nearby Scottish Loch Fyne and mixed in hometown Birmingham, their songs are inspired by both locations: machinery and desolation as well as warm and dreamy sounds are all featured on this album.
