Collectief Imprography # 3 

‘Co - Session’ is the collaborative performance with two dancers and three musicians on the stage.
The work explores to embody the relationship between abstract languages with live music concert/ performance.
A strong crossover connection reveals the co-evolution by the internal and external impulses and depicts the individual perceptions in real-time.
The ones pursue to make the showing of things is in itself the seeking for things,  
This approach of not planning opens a new door with the triggers.

Miri Lee
She is a choreographer and real-time performer who works with in the realms of visual art, music, science art, and theater performance.
She initiated a real-time performance platform called Collectief Impography based in Amsterdam in 2018,  Her interests in the unknown being composed by intuitive choices and the embodiment of momentary images through the interaction of language, light, sound, and visual objects, and to activate images through the spiritual abstraction of the performers.

Remco Menting
Remco Menting (1987) begon zijn muzikale carriere met pianospelen toen hij zeven jaar oud was. Op zijn twaalfe maakte Remco de overstap naar het drummen. Hij kreeg toen lessen van onder andere jazzdrummer Han Bennink. Daarna ging Remco drums studeren op de jazz afdeling van het Conservatiorium van Amsterdam, waar hij in 2009 afstudeerde. Al tijdens zijn studie ontwikkelde Remco zich als een veelzijdige drummer actief in verschillende muziekgenres. Het spelen in bands van uiteenlopend karakter zette hij ook na zijn studie voort. Momenteel is Remco de vaste drummer van onder andere jazztrio Kapok. Met de ongewone bezetting van hoorn, gitaar en percussie is Kapok ‘booming’ in de jazzwereld. De band was zowel winnaar van de Dutch als de European Jazz Competition en won een Edison voor het in 2014 verschenen album Kapok. Naast de drums is Remco sinds enkele jaren steeds meer geïnteresseerd geraakt in andere instrumenten. Zo speelt hij weer steeds vaker piano, maar is hij ook begonnen met melodisch slagwerk, waarvan de vibrafoon de belangrijkste is. In Kapok heeft hij zich verdiept in het gebruik van elektronica en effecten, welke hij gebruikt voor al zijn verschillende instrumenten. Afgelopen januari is hij op studiereis naar Senegal geweest om zich in de sabar muziek te verdiepen en heeft hij lessen genomen om dit instrument te leren spelen. Naast het muziek maken is hij sinds afgelopen jaar actief bezig met componeren en dirigeert hij percussiegroep Pulse in Amsterdam.

Timon Koomen
Timon Koomen is a versatile guitarist, openminded with regard to genre's and with a preference for improvisation. Some musical hero's are Bill Frisell, Frank Zappa and Red Hot Chili Peppers. He started his musical career at the age of 7 playing acoustic guitar, but was really taken by the instrument when he made the switch to the electric version. With the band Kapok he has played many shows and festivals in the NL and abroad and won awards. He is currently active with Kapok and writes music for solo guitar.

Irina Baldini
Irina Baldini works as a performer in galleries and museums, and choreographs in both site-specific and theatre-based locations. She is lead by an interest in openings, beginnings, finding solutions to unasked questions, and believes in disposable formulas for one-time experiences. She runs 4bid Gallery in Amsterdam, a non-profit project-space, and platform for art and artists with a special attention to the bridge between performance and visual art.
