A ceramic workshop that focuses on the diverse feeling of touching different sorts of clay, from very rough till very smooth. Participants will make an object that expresses their deep feelings through touching, squeezing and ”beating” clay and working directly with the hands.

This workshop is part of the exhbition "Sensory Dialogues Through Touch", up from November 14th to December 8th at Treehouse NDSM.

ABOUT DEEJANA VUCKIVIC SIMOVIC
Dejana Vuckovic Simovic is a visual artist who specialises in ceramic sculptures, drawings, and photography. She completed her studies at the Academy of Applied Art in Belgrade in 1986 and immediately sold the entire collection of sculptures from her graduating exhibition to a museum in ex-Yugoslavia. Over the years, she has received several awards at group exhibitions, held her own solo exhibition in Belgrade, and participated in ceramics workshops in Yugoslavia, Hungary, and Finland.
